In partnership with Fish Transport, J.M. Malone and Son, Inc. operates two live haul trucks and contracts with independent live haulers to deliver our fish if one of our trucks is not available. At this time we do not air ship fish or run on a regular delivery route. Freight charges for live haul trucks accrue by the loaded mile. If a customer or distributor's order does not utilize the entire truck we will make every attempt to build a route to service multiple customers.

The majority of our distributors haul their own fish, making weekly trips to our Farm. Our staff currently loads 40 to 60 live haul trucks per week at our facility.

     When ordering fish from J.M. Malone and Son, Inc. we ask that you please give us 4 to 5 days advance notice. This ensures that the fish are harvested in an appropriate time frame to provide proper handling and improved hauling. We make every attempt to forecast weekly sales and harvest fish accordingly to ensure a fresh stock of healthy fish are in the holding facility at all times. However, with the volume of fish we sell and the size of our distributors there will always be a species or size of fish that requires special attention from week to week. The more notice you can give us regarding your order, the better our fish will look when they arrive at your customers pond.

     We strongly believe that we are only as good as our worst fish, and communication is paramount to delivering healthy fish.
